The Lab - Hygienilac(Active Ingredient)
Hygienilac does not employ silver technology and is completely UV stable.
Hygienilac’s anti-bacterial properties do not migrate on contact with water.
How does Hygienilac work?
- It prevents the bacteria’s access to nutrients so they starve and die
- It has a kill rate of 99.999% and works within 60 seconds of contact.
- Proven effective up to 72hrs and when used on clothing reduces bad odours
- These products are completely safe to use and classified as non hazardous.
What tests have been done
Hygienilac Germ Warfare & Fabrix products have passed the following:
- BS EN 13704 – Sporicidal activity test log 6.7 reduction (C.diff spores)
- BS EN 1276 – Bactericidal activity test log 5 reduction
- BS EN 1500 – Disinfectant & Antiseptics test
- BS EN 1275 – Fungicidal activity test
- BS EN 13697 – Bactericidal test non-porous surfaces
The active ingredient has approvals from the following organisations:
- Food and Drug Administration (FDA)
- Approved for indirect or incidental food contact
- Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)
- It is non carcinogenic, non mutagenic and non skin sensitising
