1 Day Course
This one day course is open to all health and social care workers who want to improve their knowledge around infection prevention and control.
It is suitable for care home, agency and qualified staff. This is a comprehensive course and has a 45 minute MCQ assessment to attain the award. It is a requirement of the Care Quality Commission that all providers of care receive training around infection prevention and control and is also suitable for housekeepers, domestics and kitchen staff.
Those who do not wish to sit the assessment will receive a certificate of attendance.

How to wash hands using the right technique.
How to maintain a clean safe environment
How to decontaminate equipment
MRSA how to manage and prevent spread
Clostridium difficile prevention and management
